With profound disgust, many of us realize that immense and lasting harm has been done as a result of such things as: (1) some huge “financial services” corporations with a corporate culture that doesn't seem to care about distinguishing between services and disservices, (2) inadequate federal regulation of such financial service providers, (3) many lenders taking advantage of naïve borrowers and then marketing the bad loans, and the list goes on.
